News that should make you go uh-oh

I've been somewhat busy these past few days and so my blog entries have suffered as a result. It's not that easy to write when one is mentally and physically exhausted. One just wants to chill and remain passive. I am not sure how easy and feasible it is to remain in such a state if one is deeply devoted to Christ. There always comes a time when one has to stop dead in one's track and comment on something ridiculous and ungodly happening in the world around us. For example, this news item that was posted in The Times newspaper qualifies to be in this hall of infamy.

I don't want to go into detail explaining what the article is about but take a look and you'll know why it annoyed me. Some Catholic bishops in UK have argued that the Scripture is not necessarily all true and that there are some 'errors', for want of a better word. One can't help detect an ironical tone in the way the report has been written and that I think says a lot about the state of 'established' denominations that seem to be straying further and further away from the Truth. It is a sad and pathetic scenario and one that that provides ample ammunition to serious non-believers in their crusade against "Christianity".
